Tip #3: You Are What You Eat!

 

I don't think it takes a rocket scientist to figure out that what you eat on a daily basis has a lot to do with how you look and feel physically. For example, if you continuously eat greasy hamburgers every day, you're probably going to gain a few pounds and eventually cause your health to be garbage. At the same time, if you eat a balanced diet with the right servings of fruits, vegetables, meats, grains, and whatever else is on that food pyramid you learned about in elementary school, you will more than likely have good health.

The same is true with your mind & spirit. What you hear and see has a lot to do with how you think and feel. There is a reason why sporting events have hype music when they bring out the home team. The music gets the crowd pumped because it has an affect on them. When you go to the movies, there is a reason why the previews show soda, popcorn, and candy flashing on the screen. It has an affect on some people (definitely not me because I usually BMOS - bring my own snacks).

So my request is simple; consider what you eat, watch, and what you listen to as it has an effect on who you are and who you will become in more ways than you can ever imagine!
