Tip #16: What Goes Around Comes Around.

Some people call it Karma, the Law of Reciprocity, sowing & reaping and the Boomerang Effect. I have learned that what goes around comes around. What you do for others and how you treat them will be what others do for you and how others treat you. It's the Golden Rule; nothing new. This principle is like a farmer planting corn. He plants the corn and later harvests a crop of corn. He harvests more corn than he planted too. Therefore, the seeds you plant will be the kind of crop you harvest. You can't plant watermelon seeds and expect to pick strawberries when it's harvest time. You'd be crazy to think that. When you live a life doing for others and treating people like you want to be treated, it not only makes others feel good but it should make you feel good too! Try it and see if the smile you bring to others won't bring joy to you! Luke 6:38 says it this way: "If you give to others, you will be given a full amount in return. It will be packed down, shaken together, and spilling over into your lap. The way you treat others is the way you will be treated." So be careful what kind of seeds you plant because that's the harvest you can expect in return.
