PROJECT 3

2018 #ProjectOrlando

For summers 2016 & 2017, Titus Mentoring traveled to Nicaragua for two unique opportunities to serve (you can find details of our experience at http://www.titusmentoring.com/projects). Our next life-changing service adventure, code named #ProjectOrlando, led us to serve locally. We introduced our teens to service organizations in Orlando and the Central Florida region. This 8-day/7-night service project visited five local service organizations ranging from inner-city youth summer programs, food banks, organizations that help children with critical illnesses, and others. In the afternoons, our teens had opportunities to build relationships with each other through activities like escape rooms, video arcades, bowling, ropes courses, recreation, pool time, a local theme park, and more. Every evening ended with meaningful reflections and discussions.

While the location was different this year, the goals remained the same: bring attention to poverty to find ways we can help, show appreciation for our many blessings, and build relationships with one another. Our teens learned that there are great opportunities to serve in our "back yard". Check out our documentary and news highlight below!

THANK YOU!!!

We would like to take this time to thank all of our supporters for their help in making this trip possible. Our group of volunteers led the charge in fundraising that made our very first program, organized wholly by Titus Mentoring, possible. Also, parents, chaperones, donors, friends, and the service organizations helped to make this a life-changing experience for everyone that attended. We truly appreciate all of you.
