Tip #1B: Lead With Courage.
I firmly believe that it is man's responsibility to lead. God designed us to take charge of our families, communities, and individual lives. We are called to protect and provide for all the responsibilities we have been given. One of the great young leaders in the Bible was David. David was a young boy that showed great courage in leadership as he represented Israel to fight against the Philistine giant, Goliath. David killed Goliath and went on later to become the King of Israel. To read more of David's story, click here. What does that mean for you as a young man? Well, It doesn't mean you have to know everything or be the most qualified to lead (but you'd better know something!). Find out what it is you're in charge of and take charge. Don't be afraid that you're too young or you don't know enough. Instead, find out what you need to know to be a good leader. Read a book, do some research, Google it but whatever you do, don't cower in your responsibilities because as you'll soon find out, you will lead whether you want to or not. So lead with courage.
